Delivery, Damage & Returns
For the UK, the final price quoted on the web payments page includes delivery - currently £4.99. Orders where the value of goods is over £75 are sent Post Free.

Parcels are sent via Royal Mail or our designated carrier and we ask you to allow 14 working days from receipt of your order for delivery, though most often your order will arrive much more quickly. Please allow additional days for delivery at busy periods like Christmas. Unless you give us alternative instructions, our carrier will attempt to hand the parcel to you but if out, will leave the parcel in a safe place when possible, and drop a notification card through your door.

For orders outside the UK, carriage is charged at nett for the safest, quickest and most economic method, which is usually International Packet Post. Please contact us if you require special delivery services, prices for which will be quoted upon request.

Unfortunately, we are not responsible for damage which occurs when the goods have been handed to the postal or courier service. However, should you be unfortunate enough to receive damaged goods, let us know immediately. Please retain all relevant documentation so that we can make an insurance claim against the carrier's insurers. If the parcel you receive is battered, please note the fact on the delivery note, even before you open the package to examine the contents. If you are unable to open the damaged package in the presence of the carrier, make sure that you sign for it as ``Damaged package; goods not yet inspected" to warn the carrier that a claim may follow.

In regard of returns, the Owl Barn operates a full, no-quibble Returns Policy. If you don't like what you've bought, simply return to us post-paid with the receipt we sent you, plus details of your reason for return. We will refund the full value of the goods immediately, or exchange if preferred. Please note the cost of the shipping cannot be refunded but in the event of the goods being faulty or a damage claim is supported, we will also refund monies to cover return shipping costs. Refunds will normally be made using the same method as the original payment. (i.e. a credit card purchase will be refunded through your credit card account).
